There is a scripture that will help you realize the change that Jesus brings into your life can free you from the past. When you repent of your sins, ask forgiveness, and accept His free gift of eternal life, you no longer have to own the labels of your past life. Although some people may not believe or even accept your change, you know it is real because of God’s promise. Take some time to ponder this verse from the Bible this week as you live in the victory God has for you. It is a special bond that takes place when you realize you are a sinner and call on the Lord.
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ Jesus, he is a new creation; old things have passed away, ALL things have become new” 2 Corinthians 5:17.
