His Plan

  As I walk forward on this path God has set before me, I wonder what is next. There are times in life when all seems in vain. Times when there seems to be no rhyme or reason to why or even how the next step makes any sense. But in Isaiah 55:8 we read,” For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are My ways your ways, says the Lord”. Then, knowing as God’s child that I belong to Him and therefore He is in control, I have to realize that Romans 8:28 gives me the desire to follow the Lord in all things. “And we know that all things work together for good to those that love God, to those who are called according to His purpose”.

  God has a plan and purpose for your life, and it is perfect. That is not to say it is by our standards, but by the only one that counts in eternity. To know that the One who created me and loves me always has the best in mind is awesome. Not always easy, but it is always right because it was ordained by the almighty, all-knowing, all-present Creator of everything. So when in doubt, trust Him. When you are weary, trust Him. He will carry you through any and everything that comes your way.
